Mountain Movers
At Wellspring we understand that you are never too young to change the world! We want to empower our children by teaching them to have faith that “moves mountains.” (Matthew 17:20) God loves the faith of a child, and we believe it can positively affect their homes, schools, and future world. We are dedicated to giving our kids age-appropriate teachings and hands-on activities that grow their faith in God. Our goal is to build strong, Godly foundations in our kids, to inspire them to become lifelong Mountain Movers!
Mountain Movers is designed for children aged 5-12. Our children enjoy scripture taught through object lessons, crafts, and games in a safe and supportive environment. We look forward to meeting you and your children!
Your First Visit
Check-in begins fifteen minutes before our worship service. Once entering our building you will spot a Mountain Movers volunteer who will check in your children. These volunteers are here to help, so ask them your questions and feel free to share with them any of your children’s special requirements. Our process for check-in is quick, safe, and easy.
After checking-in your child, you will receive a parent security tag. Use your parent security tag (which will match the number on your children’s name tag) to pick up your children from the Mountain Movers classrooms, which are located downstairs.
Nursery
In addition to Mountain Movers we offer a staffed nursery, with plenty of room for toddlers to play. Parents of children aged two and younger are invited to check in their child to the nursery before or during the service. Please share any needs of the child with the staff. If diaper changes are required, the parent will be notified via text to attend to their child for the parent’s comfort and the child’s safety.
Wellspring interviews and approves potential nursery volunteers. We require all volunteers to submit an application form and pass a thorough background check before the interview process. All children must be picked up by the parent who dropped them off, unless we are given written authorization for another. Your children’s safety and security are our highest priority!
Nursing Mother’s Room
A Nursing Mother’s Room is available for moms who need a quiet space to feed and care for our youngest. Our Nursing Mother’s Room features comfortable seating, soft lighting, a changing station, and a video feed of the service so you don’t miss our worship service.
Kids Director
Amanda Murray
Amanda Murray has a teaching degree and has shared the Word with children for many years. She is blessed to be directing our children’s ministry, women’s ministry, and to be a member of the worship team. She is married to Ryan, our worship leader, and enjoys homeschooling their daughter, Clara.
